Insurance: Dr. Laura King is in-network with and accepts Aetna, CareFirst BCBS, & United Healthcare insurances for acupuncture and Chinese medicine services only. *Please note, she does not accept insurance for nutrition, VO2 Max, VO2 RMR, or facial rejuvenation services. Dr. King will provide a Superbills for insurance companies with whom she does not participate and for services that are not covered.
Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine include sports and orthopedic acupuncture (and dry needling), movement assessments, orthopedic testing, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
These appointments include Acupuncture & Dry Needling, Electrical Simulation, Fire Cupping, and Gua Sha / Graston Technique. Red Light therapy is an a la carte option.
Non-insurance: New Patient: 90 minutes, $180 | Follow-up: 60 minutes, $120 | Red light: $20 add-on
Nutrition
In a nutrition appointment Dr. King will take into account your medical history, labs, medications, supplements, and assess a 3-day food record you provide. Information provided includes: personalized macro, micro, supplement, lab work/other testing, dietary, & lifestyle recommendations + 3 personalized meal plan days. A 30-minute follow-up is included. Please note, insurance cannot be accepted for nutrition services. Dr. King will provide a Superbill per request. Please see the FAQs page for more information.

VO2 Testing
VO2 Max is recognized amongst health care professionals as a potent and key indicator of human longevity, performance, and recovery. In addition we offer VO2 RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate) testing. We are excited to bring this service to our patients and community. These are two separate tests and package pricing is available. VO2 Max single test: $175 | VO2 RMR single test: $100 | Packages are available. Discounts are also offered to first responders, military, and TFL members.

Location & Hours of Operation
Dr. King's private practice, Cascade Wellness, is located within Home Skincare and Wellness. A beautiful, historic and convenient location right off route 70 in Woodbine/Lisbon, Maryland, and only 30 min from Baltimore. Acupuncture, nutrition, VO2 RMR, and facial rejuvenation services are offered at this location. Dr. King performs VO2 Max testing at TFL Crossfit in Mt Airy, unless other arrangements are made in advance.
A beautiful 200 year old brick building, conveniently located off of Route 70 in Woodbine.
