Insurance: Dr. Laura King is in-network with and accepts Aetna, CareFirst BCBS, & United Healthcare insurances for acupuncture and Chinese medicine services. Dr. King will provide a Superbills for insurance companies with whom she does not participate. *Please note, she does not accept insurance for nutrition or facial rejuvenation services.
Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine services include sports and orthopedic acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Within these appointments Dr. King offers Acupuncture & Dry Needling, Electrical Simulation, Fire Cupping, Gua Sha / Graston Technique, Chinese Herbs and Chinese medicine specific nutrition.
Red light therapy is offered within these appointments for pain management and is a la carte.
Non-insurance: New Patient: 90 minutes, $180 / Follow-up: 60 minutes, $120 / Red light: $25 add-on
Nutrition
In a nutrition appointment Dr. King will take into account your medical history, medications, supplements, labs, and assess a 3-day food record you provide.
Information provided includes: personalized macro, micro, supplement, lab work/other testing, dietary, & lifestyle recommendations + 3 personalized meal plan days.
A 30-minute follow-up is included. Please note, insurance cannot be accepted for nutrition services. Dr. King will provide a Superbill per request. Please see the FAQs page for more information.

Facial Rejuvenation
Facial Rejuvenation services include Facial Cupping & Gua Sha and Microneedling for patients interested in a more natural and holistic way to address signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, discoloration, puffy skin etc. Both services include a personalized acupuncture treatment to address the root cause of your aging concerns. With more than 22 years experience in a various professional roles, Dr. King brings a breadth of knowledge and expertise to your business. Capabilities include providing services at events (e.g., sporting events, seminars, etc); speaking engagements; writing articles for professionals & consumers; analyzing scientific research; assisting with new product development; product reviews, market analysis; and more. Package options and gift cards are available for existing self-pay patients
If you have been seen for an initial acupuncture appointment, are not using insurance, and plan on coming frequently for treatments, a package option may be right for you. You do not need to be an existing patient to purchase a package for Facial Rejuvenation services
*Note: packages are good for one year from the date of purchase. If they are not used in that year, you will be reimbursed for the sessions you did not use.

Dr. King's private practice, Cascade Wellness, is located within Home Skincare and Wellness. A beautiful and convenient location right off route 70 in Woodbine/Lisbon, Maryland, and only 30 min from Baltimore.
